Privacy
Here, in plain language, is what FaithGiftGuide collects and what it does not. The short version: we do not run visitor tracking, we do not sell or rent your data, and the only personal information we ever hold is an email address you choose to give us.
Analytics
We do not currently run analytics or any visitor tracking on the site, so there are no analytics cookies and no consent banner. If we add analytics later, it will be a cookieless, privacy-respecting tool such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, which reports only aggregate page views and never fingerprints or profiles visitors, and we will update this page before it starts.
Cookies
FaithGiftGuide itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The one case where a cookie may be set is when you click an affiliate link and leave the site: the program behind that link may set its own cookie on the retailer's domain to credit a purchase. That happens on their side, under their policy, and only if you click. See our disclosure for how affiliate links work.
If we run a seasonal email list, it uses double opt-in: you enter your address, then confirm it from a message we send before you are ever added. We collect only the address you provide, we use it only to send the emails you signed up for, and every message includes an unsubscribe link that removes you at once. We do not sell, rent, or share your address. If no signup form appears on the site, we are not collecting email at all.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We do not run third-party advertising networks on the site.
- We do not build profiles of individual visitors.
- We do not ask for personal information you do not need to give.
Your choices and questions
You can leave the email list at any time using the link in any message. For any question about your data, or to ask us to remove an email address, use our contact page and we will take care of it.
Changes to this page
If our practices change, we will update this page to match. We will not quietly start collecting more than we describe here.
